Deutsche Wohnen achieves BBB+ rating by Standard & Poor's

Frankfurt/Main and Berlin, 25 November 2014. Today Deutsche Wohnen has been given a long-term issuer rating by the international rating agency Standard & Poor's for the first time. The BBB+ rating with stable outlook underscores the quality of the business model and is comparable with the Baa1 rating that the company received from Moody's two weeks ago.

"With these ratings we have an important tool at hand that enables us to operate flexibly on international financial markets. We increase our transparency and moreover, gain access to new groups of investors," explained Andreas Segal, CFO of Deutsche Wohnen AG.

With its ratings of BBB+ and Baa1, Deutsche Wohnen is currently ahead of its national peers.
