On 9 August 2007 the merger of Deutsche Wohnen Group with Berlin GEHAG Group (contracted on 2 July 2007) was executed finally.
On 8 August 2007 the Register Court registrated the 6,400,000 new bearer shares, which were part of the total purchase price for GEHAG Group and were given now to the selling parties (2 funds managed by Oaktree Capital Management LLC).
Due to this, the total number of outstanding shares of Deutsche Wohnen AG increased to 26,400,000 bearer and registered shares.
Approximately 97.4 percent respectively 25,716,376 shares of the total amount of 26,400,000 shares are bearer shares (ISIN DE000A0HN5C6); merely 2.6 percent respectively 683,624 shares are registered shares (ISIN DE0006283302).
The bearer shares of Deutsche Wohnen AG are listed in the SDAX and in the international indices of MSCI and EPRA. The bearer shares show much higher trading liquidity at the stock exchange compared to the registered shares.
Besides the new bearer shares, on 8 August 2007 also the contracted convertible bonds (total nominal value: EUR 25 million) were issued to the selling parties.
